Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute invites to Sandal Institute International Visiting Researchers SIR in Norway. Sandal Institute welcomes applications from academics who are employed at a university overseas for visits of between one month and one year to engage in world-class research and innovative pedagogy with a global impact. The main goals of the Sandal Institute International Visiting Researchers SIR are writing scientific articles or book chapters for publishing or making a scientific or pragmatic project and preparing presentations for Summits. Furthermore, based on the experience at Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute, the activities will increase scientific interaction and develop effective knowledge transfer mechanisms. Visitors will prepare themselves for higher academic studies at Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute and other high-ranking academic institutions worldwide. Sandal Institute International Visiting Researchers SIR program welcomes applications continuously. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Be an academic who is employed at a university overseas or a representative of universities and colleges in the Sandal Institute Global network, which now comprises 44 units in 8 countries on 4 continents.
  • Start preparing an article or project concerning Sandal Institute International Visiting Researchers SIR in Norway activities before arrival. Finish the articles or project during the Sandal International Visiting Researchers SIR in Norway.
  • Be ready for keynote speaking at a Summit Conversation on Emerging Issues in Social Entrepreneurship.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. To complete your application, you will need to submit 3 forms/documents:
    • Copy of the first page of your international passport (Name_Passport.pdf).
    • Letter of Motivation where you describe the relevance of your candidacy, your motivation for applying and the idea of your science articles (signed by the applicant, not more than 1-page A4, Name_Motivation.pdf).
    • Curriculum Vitae, use http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/documents/curriculum-vitae (Name_CV.pdf).
  2. Documents that do not meet the requirements will not be considered.
  3. Send documents in 1 email (letter subject – Name) to the coordinator:

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Accommodation, transportation in Norway and dietary expenses during the Sandal Institute International Visiting Researchers SIR in Norway are covered by the Visitor. Participants must have travel insurance and cover private expenses plus flights to, and from Oslo Gardermoen Airport. Visitors will be charged academic visitor fees/donations. Visitors will have access to Campus # 2 and working desk. Most visitors will apply for research funding to cover their visit to the Institute, from their home university or from external funding schemes.
