Professor Oleg Skydan is a renowned Ukrainian scholar in the fields of agricultural economics, food security, and rural development. He defended his doctoral dissertation on the organizational and economic mechanisms of Ukraine’s agricultural policy and is the author and co-author of numerous scientific works on economics, agrarian production, land relations, and sustainable development.
For many years, he has focused on innovative rural development, agrarian policy, and Ukraine’s integration into the European space. Under his leadership, Polissia National University has been actively strengthening international cooperation, participating in Digital Europe, Horizon Europe, Erasmus+, and Jean Monnet programs, and collaborating with universities across the EU, USA, and Canada.
He combines significant experience in public administration of the agrarian sector with academic and educational work, making a substantial contribution to the development of independent science and international collaboration.
