Nataliia Melnyk has been granted a scholarship for an exchange visit in the framework of Sandal Private Museum Exchange Program (SPME), Norway. The exchange visit takes place at the Sandal Private Museum venue from Friday, June 7, 2019 to Sunday, June 16, 2019.
The exchange is organized according to Articles 2 in Cooperation Agreement between Zhytomyr National Agroecological University, Ukraine and Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute.

Nataliia Melnyk is a PhD student, head of the Postgraduate Department at Zhytomyr National Agroecological University, Ukraine. She has been awarded the Diploma of Social Entrepreneur School IBS in May 2019 and was a speaker at the 64th Summit Conversations on Emerging Issues in Social Entrepreneurship.
During all her scientific way Nataliia Melnyk always has been showing excellent results during the studying process, she has been active in academic work due to her numerous publications, conferences and different projects, diverse research projects etc. She already has wide work experience in the fields of management, economy and finance.

Iryna Lytvynchuk

Iryna Lytvynchuk is a Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, and expert in public policy, innovation, and intellectual property management. Her professional and academic work is closely linked to the development of cultural policy, creative industries, and the sustainable management of local cultural heritage.

She is a recipient of the Scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for Young Scientists (2014–2015) and the EU Scholarship for Civil Society Leaders under the “Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facilities” initiative (2022). She was awarded the title of Affiliated Scientific Fellow by the Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute (Oslo, 2022) and received the Merit Certificate from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in 2021 for her outstanding service to the Ukrainian people.

Dr. Lytvynchuk actively contributes to strengthening the cultural and creative sectors in Ukraine through expert work with the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (since 2022), participation in projects focused on heritage governance, and training programs for local cultural actors. She is the coordinator of initiatives that integrate cultural heritage into strategic development and local resilience planning.

Her international academic recognition includes participation in the “Innovation University and Leadership” program (Artes Liberales Foundation, Poland, 2017), the Civic School for Sound EU Practice (Berlin, 2019), and the CURAD program on community economic development at Pennsylvania State University (USA, 2021).

She was recognized by local authorities with a Certificate of Honour from the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration (2016) and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Mayor of Zhytomyr (2018).

She is the author of more than 100 scientific publications, and actively contributes to national and international expert bodies, including the Horizon Europe Programme Committee (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions).

Dinh Van Nha has been granted a scholarship for an exchange visit in the framework of Sandal Private Museum Exchange Program (SPME) to Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute, Norway. The exchange visit takes place at the Institute's venue from Friday, June 7, 2019 to Sunday, June 16, 2019.

The exchange is organized according to Article 1 in Cooperation Agreement between Omega institute, Hanoi, Vietnam and Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute.

Iryna Tkachuk

IrynaTkachukFellowIryna Tkachuk is the Associate Professor of Finance and Credit Department at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. Since 2011, she has been conducting scientific research in the field of NGOs existing. During that time, she has written more than 35 scientific articles and participated in numerous scientific conferences. In addition, she started her scientific research at Prof. Jan-U. Sandal supervision in Norway in May 2018.

Iryna Tkachuk has defended PhD theses on topic “Financial support of Ukrainian non-governmental organizations activity” in 2016. Moreover, she is working at her full doctorate thesis on topic “Finances of civil society organizations”.

She has cooperated actively with Chernivtsi Regional Council. She is one of co-authors of Strategy of Chernivtsi Region Development until 2020 and was a consultant of Chernivtsi mayor’s deputy. Iryna Tkachuk is an expert of NGO “Center for Reforms and Development”. In addition, she is the head of the local branch of the political party “Samopomich”. Thus, she has interests in political finances too.

Benny Carlson

Benny Carlson, Professor emeritus of economic history at Lund University, Sweden. His main research interests are the history of economic ideas – particularly the spread of ideas between Germany, the United States and Sweden – economic policy and the economic integration of immigrants. He has published twenty books and close to a hundred articles on these issues. He has been a friend of Jan-Urban Sandal for more than thirty years. Benny is an Honorary Senior Fellow of Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute.
