Resilience of Ukrainian Communities in the Context of European Integration: Challenges, Strategies and Innovations (Acronym - ResCom-EU).

This research initiative aims to strengthen the resilience of Ukrainian communities by assessing the level of knowledge, awareness, and practices that contribute to sustainable development in the framework of European integration. The project develops an interdisciplinary toolkit addressing project and strategic management, local economic development, social entrepreneurship, creative industries, civic participation, education and promotion, spatial planning, governance, and digital technologies. Special attention is devoted to studying European and Ukrainian experiences in social entrepreneurship and promoting their dissemination at the community level, which is of particular importance in the post-war recovery of Ukraine. By applying comparative analysis, scenario planning, and strategic foresight, the project seeks to elaborate an integrated methodology for building resilient local strategies aligned with EU standards.

The outcomes include a scientific monograph and dissemination of results to academic institutions, NGOs, local governments, and community leaders through forums, summits, conferences, and public discussions.

The research project is supported by Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute.
