Stalnychenko Karolina is a student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. WELCOME KATERYNA LYSAK

Kateryna Lysak is currently studying International Relations and Social Entrepreneurship at Polissia National University. She is actively engaged in academic, civic, and international initiatives that focus on diplomacy, governance, innovation, and youth empowerment.
Her academic focus is closely linked to practical experience. Kateryna is a graduate of the Autumn 2024 Social Entrepreneur School IBS at the Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute and participated in the Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2024 in Poland. These experiences reflect her strong commitment to social innovation and sustainable development, particularly in the context of Ukraine’s post-war recovery. She views social entrepreneurship as a transformative tool for rebuilding Ukraine by fostering economic resilience, creating opportunities for vulnerable communities, and addressing pressing social issues through innovation.
Kateryna has been a two-time participant of the School of Local Self-Government at the Zhytomyr Regional Council (2023, 2025), where she gained practical skills in public administration and local governance. She also completed an internship in the course "Man and State: Rules of the Game" and took part in the Business Academy Project at Polissia National University.
Her interest in diplomacy and international cooperation is evident through her participation in the diplomatic battle “UN as a space for advocacy of the Ukrainian issue” and open lectures on EU conflict resolution mechanisms, sanctions, and the Russian-Ukrainian war within the Jean Monnet ESEDEP project. She attended expert-led webinars and lectures, including one with Tata Kozyreva on launching an international career, and engaged in intercultural communication dialogues with American volunteers.
In 2023, she joined the international educational initiative Ukrainian Global on the topic “New organizational forms and the bodiless leadership” by Kjell A. Nordström, gaining insights into modern leadership approaches. She also attended the presentation “Food crisis in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine”, further strengthening her understanding of global issues.
Kateryna is committed to international collaboration and knowledge transfer. With values grounded in punctuality, pragmatism, emotional resilience, and a drive for continuous improvement, she aspires to contribute to impactful change through applied research, civic initiatives, and global dialogue.

Mykyta Bodiul is a bachelor student at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Ukraine. Welcome Oksana Prokopchuk from Polissia National University, Ukraine

Oksana Prokopchuk holds a PhD in Economics. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of International Economic Relations and European Integration at Polissia National University (Ukraine).

Oksana Prokopchuk's research focuses on the study of mechanisms for managing internationalization processes in agribusiness. Oksana also researches the processes of rural development based on inclusion and socio-economic cohesion in Ukraine, taking into account the experience of the European Union.

P Ph Dr. Achyut Nepal, is a distinguished scholar and seasoned practitioner in the fields of finance and economics.
P Ph Dr. Nepal holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and brings extensive experience spanning mid- to senior-level leadership roles in government organizations, public enterprises and international and national NGOs in Nepal. His career has been marked by a strong focus on infrastructure development with particular expertise in financial management, public-private partnership and project finance.
Since 2017, he has been affiliated with the Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute and has successfully completed the four-year Affiliated Honorary Research Fellow program. In recognition of his fulfillment of all requirements he has been conferred the title of Patron of Philosophy of the Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute. We look forward to celebrating this achievement.
Currently, he is engaged in advanced independent research exploring the role of social entrepreneurship in addressing energy poverty – a critical and timely issue at the intersection of economic development and social impact.

The relationship between team diversity (in terms of age, gender, cultural background, experience, etc.) and its innovative potential.

The overall objective of the project is to empirically investigate how team diversity impacts innovation capabilities in different companies, providing insights into the mechanisms through which diverse teams contribute to creative problem-solving and innovative outcomes. This research aims to identify the specific attributes of team diversity that enhance innovation, understand the conditions under which diversity is most beneficial, and develop practical recommendations for organizations seeking to leverage diversity for improved innovation performance.

WELCOME TATYANA ZAKHARINA
Tatyana Zakharina has a doctorate in pedagogical sciences. She is a professor of the Department of Social Rehabilitation and Social Pedagogy of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv National University. Her scientific activity is related to the study of the process of social reintegration of veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian aggression. She pays special attention to the creation of a reintegration environment in institutions of higher education, which is determined not only by the general processes of social reintegration of veterans, but also by conceptual transformations in the field of social work in the crisis conditions of Russian aggression in Ukraine.
Prof. Dr. Tatyana Zakharina is making her Scientific Internship online at Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute from July 1st to September 1st, 2024, and will present her science at the 95th Summit Conversations on Emerging Issues in Social Entrepreneurship on September 6, 2024.

WELCOME TETIANA LIUBCHENKO

Tetiana Liubchenko is a second-year student at Polissia National University (Ukraine), majoring in International Economic Relations. She is actively involved in academic research and has co-authored a scientific article on cryptocurrency in international financial markets under the supervision of a PhD in Economics.
Tetiana’s research interests include digital transformation, international financial systems, and the development of social entrepreneurship in the context of European integration.
Her current research paper, which she plans to develop within the framework of SISS 2025, is titled:
“European Cases of Social Enterprises: Current Trends and Lessons for Ukraine in the Context of European Integration.”

Valeriia Polishchuk is a third year Bachelor's student of International Economic Relations at Polissia National University. As an active and dedicated student, she is deeply involved in academic and extracurricular activities that contribute to her personal and professional growth. Valeriia has taken part in a range of international and national initiatives, including:

Veronika Pilshchikova is a bachelor student of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, pursuing her degree in Public Administration and Civil Service.
She successfully completed the international course series «SOCIAL ENTREPRENEUR SCHOOL IBS» at Fil. Dr. Jan-U. Sandal Institute, where she studied: “Social Entrepreneurship”, “Innovation Management”, and “Service Vision Management”.

Welcome Viktoriia Shvets from Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, Ukraine

Victoriia Shvets is a graduate of Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, majoring in Public Management and Administration. She currently works at the university and as the head of the Press Service department (Ukraine).
Victoriia Shvets' research is focused on the study of women's participation in social entrepreneurship. Victoriia is also researching digitization processes in Ukraine in accordance with the requirements of the European Union.

As part of her internship, Victoriia is working on a research paper on the topic: «Women as agents of change: the development of social entrepreneurship in the digital age».
